Time flies and suddenly it's July... Summer has been busy so far filming for BBC Gospel Choir...

...of The Year competition in July with Lifted Voices Choir, and in August I'm performing with Jamie Cullum and the Roundhouse Choir at BBC Proms. BBC Gospel Choir of The Year/Songs of Praise was a truly inspiring event to be part of! You can imagine what happens when you put 100 singers in a tiny green room - spontaneous bursts of song and lots of good vibes all around. Can't wait to actually hear the other choirs as we were backstage during their performances. It's showing on BBC 1 in October, stay tuned!

Another gig I'm looking forward to is with Jamie Cullum and the Roundhouse Choir at BBC Proms. As a choir alumna I've had the honour to join them for a few performances since I left the choir back in 2010, and this year we're joining Jamie for his gig in Royal Albert Hall on August 11.
